I am a marketing and communications consultant with more than 20 years’ experience of working in the social housing and regeneration environments. I was National Communications Manager at England’s largest housing association for nine years and Head of Communications at England’s largest provider of housing and care for a further three years. Prior to this, I worked in commercial advertising and marketing agencies, the music industry and in promoting adult education.

Rachel Burns – PR & Marketing Assistant
I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 with a BA Hons in Events Management and joined the team in July 2011. I am really enjoying the opportunity to use my degree and develop my knowledge of PR and marketing in this role, which ranges from distributing press releases and dealing with the media to researching information on the internet, gathering quotes for inclusion in articles, press releases etc. and helping to keep all our systems running smoothly.

Emma Callaghan – Marketing & PR Associate
I am an NUJ qualified journalist and have a BA Hons. in Dramatic Studies. I have over 10 years’ experience in radio and television presenting with companies including Channel 4 and Scottish Television and have worked at the ‘sharp end’ of regional journalism as a reporter for the Wirral Globe newspaper. I currently work with James Rae Communications to provide media training and freelance PR support.
