In addition to individual apartments, the scheme also includes extensive communal areas including a large lounge and a dining/activities room which can be divided, communal kitchen facilities, a conservatory, assisted bathroom and guest room. There are also extensive gardens to the front and rear of the scheme, as well as staff offices and a meeting room.

The development has been funded by Guinness Northern Counties & HCA grant of £2.2m.
Allan Ramsay, Guinness Northern Counties’ Director of Investment & Regeneration, said: “Guinness Northern Counties is extremely proud of its new development at Moordale Court which provides a great standard of accommodation for our new customers. We’re particularly grateful for the support of officers and members at Redcar and Cleveland Council, together with the financial backing of the Homes and Communities Agency, without which the development of the scheme would not have been possible. Having met a number of the residents, I know they’re enjoying life in their new homes and we wish them all the best for the future.’
The Leader of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, Councillor George Dunning said ” We are delighted that the Guinness Northern Counties’ Foundation Trust have provided a first class facility for our people. It has been a pleasure to work alongside such a caring organisation.”
